In 2010 when Svend Dieffenbach purchased his farm in White Springs he decided to not only raise beef cattle but also implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) in order to protect local natural resources.

Some of the most effective BMPs implemented include fencing off waterways, cross fencing, using GPS applications, rotational grazing, minimal tillage and planting butter strips around wetlands.

Dieffenbach is a member of the Florida Cattleman’s Association and Florida Cracker Cattleman’s Association.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2018 CARES designation and sign to Svend Dieffenbach and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
