ABOUT 4 STAR FARM

4 Star Farm has been in operation since 2015 when Cliff Starling and his family began their hay and diversified livestock operation consisting of cattle, chickens, goats and pork in Suwannee County.

Together, Cliff and his family operate on about 150 acres and implement an extensive Best Management Practices program to improve water quality . Through the use of grid sampling and soil sampling this family has the ability to monitor and manage nutrient levels throughout their pastures to decrease chemical usage. Additional BMPs include rotational grazing, no-till and cover crops to improve soil health and retain soil moisture.

The Starling family travels to various local farmers markets for educational and retail opportunities for consumers as well.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2019 CARES designation and sign to Cliff Starling and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
