CIRCLE M FARMS

Ryan McCulley, a fourth generation farmer, has grows corn and raises beef cattle with his father, Terry, who has been farming since the 1950’s.

Through local cost- share programs, the McCulley family have implemented Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as strip to improve soil health and retain optimal soil moisture. Between growing seasons they use a cover crop rotation which aids in water conservation. Additional BMPs implemented include using a center pivot irrigation system to reduce water usage by 50%.

As one of the oldest farm families in Hamilton County, it is important to both father and son to be sustainable throughout their entire operation so that future generations will be successful.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2019 CARES designation and sign to Ryan and Terry McCulley and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
