Ryan McCulley, a fourth generation farmer has been growing corn and raising beef cattle since the 1950’s.

Through Best Management Practices (BMPs), Ryan has used the cost-share program to implement strip tillage into his routine, improving soil health and moisture retention. Between growing seasons he uses a cover crop rotation which his in water conservation. Additional BMPs include using a center pivot irrigation system to reduce water usage by 50%.

McCulley is heavily involved in accomplishing their families goal of being a sustainable farm.
