GRAM’S LEGACY, LLC

First generation grower, Andy Jackson, has combined his passion for engineering and agriculture by starting a cold hardy citrus operation in Taylor County.

With the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs), Jackson is able to reduce overall water use and improve water quality on his operation. Through the use of soil moisture sensors, remote temperature sensors and remote irrigation controls he effectively monitors water and nutrient use.

Jackson is a member of the Cold Hardy Citrus Association and partners with a local radio station as well as Southeast Ag-net to broadcast current agricultural news.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2019 CARES designation and sign to Andy Jackson and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
