ABOUT Gram’s Legacy, LLC
First generation farmer, Andy Jackson has combined his passion for engineering and agriculture and started a cold hardy citrus operation in Taylor county with advanced technology.
With the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs), Jackson is working hard to reduce water use and improve water quality. Through the use of soil moisture and conductivity sensors, remote temperature sensing and irrigation controls the nutrient levels are easily monitored and water usage is significantly decreased.
Jackson is heavily involved throughout his community as a member of the Cold Hardy Citrus Association and is partnered with a local radio station and Southeast Ag-net to broadcast current news in the industry.
Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2019 CARES designation and sign to Andy Jackson and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
