Hendrick Hay and Cattle

Hendrick Hay and Cattle has been in operation since 1986 when Clark Hendrick and his wife Lisa began producing beef cattle and hay.

Together, Clark and Lisa farm in Lafayette County and implement a highly effective conservation program.  Through implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) on each parcel of land they accomplish their goals of reducing water, nutrient and chemical use, improving water quality and protecting surrounding wildlife habitats.

On their operation, the Hendricks have replaces the sprinkler heads on all seven existing pivots. This is to ensure that they are only using the amount of water that they need. The Hendricks also keep accurate records of all fertilizers that have been applied on their farm in order to only use what they need.

In regards to leadership, Clark is a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is also a member of the Lafayette High School FFA Alumni and serves as the chairman of the Lafayette County Development Authority. The Hendrick family has also been awarded the Lafayette County Farm Family of the Year.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2021 CARES designation and sign to Clark and Lisa Hendrick for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
