Lane Farms
Lane Farms has been in business since 1990, where Wayne and his wife, Patricia, grow silage corn, peanuts, hay, and raise beef cattle.
Together, the Lanes have incorporated Best Management Practices to accomplish their goals of protecting local natural resources.
On their family farm, the Lanes use a variety of planting methods, such as strip-till and turbo-till, to protect soil health. They conduct soil sampling at 2 ½ acre sites to precisely monitor soil health, as well.
The Lanes are proud members of the Hickory Head Baptist Church.
The Florida Farm Bureau Federation is honored to award a 2022 CARES designation and sign to Wayne and Patricia Lane for their continued dedication to being exemplary environmental stewards.
